Own a business in Cleveland Heights or University Heights?

Are you a citizen who wants to learn more about economic strength through support of the local independent business community?

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and explore successful ways to build strength in numbers and discover the power of local.

Jeff Milchen, co-founder of the American Independent Business Alliance, conducts a hands-on workshop with proven tools to help keep more money flowing to local entrepreneurs and boost local economic vitality. Discuss:

  • Challenges to small businesses in today's economy
  • Group purchasing and marketing strategies
  • Benefits local businesses bring to the community
  • Importance of networking and social events
  • Alliances across the country
  • Building a powerful collective brand

Over 70 Independent Business Alliances have been organized across the country to support community-based businesses and keep them thriving in the face of competition from chains, online businesses, and others.

Since 2001, IBAs are playing a crucial role in keeping opportunities alive for entrepreneurs, building more self-reliant communities, and engaging citizens actively in their communities' future.

Milchen is a highly-sought speaker, nationally published writer, and a leading voice for community self determination.

The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m and will run 2-3 hours. Light refreshments served. Held at the CHUH Library, 2345 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights.

Free to CH and UH businesses and CH and UH residents.

$25 all others (This workshop focuses on CH and UH, but anyone is welcome to attend to hear Jeff's message.)

Without your participation nothing will happen.

We've recently heard from many small independent businesses in Cleveland Heights and University Heights.

Their messages have been strong and clear. They need help. They are just barely getting by. They may have to shut down if things don't get better soon. Or, they are doing pretty well but could always use a little help.

Here's a good opportunity to address these and other important concerns in a proactive and positive way. Sign up today. You'll be glad you did.
